Pals Blog Hop: Random Acts of Kindness
Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Random Acts of Kindness. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Everyone can use some random kindness at some point (or many times) in their life. We’re all so busy with our day-to-day we may miss the opportunity to show people we care. Random Acts of Kindness to the rescue! No birthday or anniversary necessary. Grab a bottle of wine, dress it up with a handmade hanging tag and you’re ready to go.
Other uses for a hanging bottle tag:
- Favorite non-alcohol beverage
- Soap or lotion bottles like
- Anything with a neck. No, not your friend or pet!
This project couldn’t be easier. A few cuts, one score and leftovers from the September 2024 Paper Pumpkin “Autumn Abundance” and that’s it. This may have been the quickest handmade project I’ve ever done.
Disclaimer: Although the Paper Pumpkin Kit I used is no longer available, the Memorable Meadows Refill kit (seen below) is. With it’s outdoor scenery, it will make beautiful wine bottle tags. You DO need to be a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber to purchase the refill kits. Don’t worry, there are no obligations to continue if you don’t like it.
Nuts & Bolts
Paper Cuts
- Base – Night of Navy Cardstock 3-1/4″ x 8″, scored at 2-1/4″ from one end
- Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 3″ x 5- 1/2″ (I used one of the card bases from the Paper Pumpkin Kit “Autumn Abundance”)
- Die-Cuts from the Paper Pumpkin Kit
Construction – refer to photos as needed.
- Use a 1-1/2″ Circle Punch to punch a hole into top of the Night of Navy Cardstock. Round all four corners with a corner punch.
- Round corners of the DSP. Adhere DSP layer to the tag base with Stampin’ Seal.
- Stamp Pre-cut label from the kit with Copper Clay ink and desired greeting (also from the kit). Adhere to DSP layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere die-cuts with a combination of Mini-Stampin’ Dimensionals and Liquid Glue
- Embellish with gems if desired.
- Deliver the kindness.
More inspiration awaits. Use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be Home for the Holidays.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
