Adorable, Roarable Dinos

Have you heard? New dinosaurs have just hatched and they are absolutely adorable!

I chose the Darling Dinos Bundle (from the 2025 Spring Mini-Catalog) for a swap, not thinking about all of the coloring I would need to do…. in the middle of holiday prep to boot! What was I thinking? Sorry I can’t post the catalog photo until it’s available to purchase.

Instead of coloring, I opted for stamping the dinosaur on Granny Apple Green cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then, the spots and toenails were filled in with Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.

Thank goodness for color coordinated cardstock, patterned paper and coloring tools!

Finished Size:

A2 (4-1/4? x 5-1/2?)

Paper Cuts:

Card Base: Basic White Thick CS – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″; score at 4-1/4″
Layer 1: Real Red CS – 3″ x 3-3/4″
Layer 2: Patterned Paper – 3″ x 4-1/4″
Large Heart: Patterned Paper – 3″ x 3-3/4″
Small Heart: Basic White CS – 3″ x 3″
Dinosaur: Granny Apple Green CS – 3-1/2″ x 2″ (approximate)

Construction:

Stamp Dinosaur with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Granny Apple Green CS. Color spots & toenails with Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend; die cut image.
Die Cut hearts.
Adhere layers 1 and 2 with your choice of adhesive.
Adhere large heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp greeting on small white heart. Adhere to large heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a bow around the neck of the dinosaur. A small spot of liquid glue in the center of the bow will help it stay tied.
Adhere dinosaur (body only) to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the nose to the white heart with a spot of liquid glue or glue dot.
Finish inside as desired.
