Starburst Thank You
Welcome to Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge PPA208 and a Starburst Thank You. Let’s also say a big hello to the official start of Summer even though it’s felt like summer for a while now.
When this sketch came up the chevron pattern from Lullaby Designer Series Paper (Item #133695) popped into my noggin. The biggest decision was which chevron color scheme to use. Coastal Cabana or Crisp Cantaloupe? Decisions, Decisions.

The Cantaloupe Crisp combination won due to the fact that blues tend to grace Wild West blog posts more often than pinks. After all, it is a challenge, right?
Starburst Thank You Highlights
- Keep it clean and simple by using tools more than layers and embellishments. Score lines were created with the score blade on the handy, dandy, sleek and sexy Stampin’ Trimmer (Item #126889) . So easy!
- The little “Thank You So Much” image from Starburst Sayings (Item #133185 clear mount) is a perfectly simple statement and fits the star burst Wooden Accent (Item #132258) like a glove.
- Snip some Calypso Coral Baker’s Twine (Retired) and adhere behind the starburst with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Item #110755)

This is a pink I can live with. Now that’s Wild!
