And, the Wild West Pick May 12-18 is…. the Kraft Grid Journal (#135718). Chris R., you guessed it!
When I see kraft card stock, I think old west and vintage. Easy to see why this was the pick this week. The perfect stamp set for the creation, Yee-Haw, of course. So glad I acquired this stamp set before it retired.
The journal’s cover is wood grain through and through.

If you look closely at the front, you’ll see a crack in the “wood” cover. It was a welcome accident for sure. However, severely weakened the cover. Another piece of cardstock was added to the inside cover to strengthen it again. The back is kept simple except for my signature. I’ll carry this little journal around for important notes.

Oh, I love it! I don’t have that stamp set but I still have yet to decide if I want to give it as a present or what. That was why I wanted to see what you would do with it. It sure looks fun! I totally missed the wood grain on mine but then again I really haven’t looked at it. Just one of those spur of the moment things to add to my order. Looking forward to the tutorial!
