Welcome to another walk down Memory Lane. This Throw WAY-back Thursday is the oldest yet. October 2013 to be exact.  I’ve left most of the text as it appeared on my original post. Who knows, you may even have some of the supplies hanging around in your craft room.  

It’s here, it’s here, it’s Friday and it’s here!  It’s also time to play with the Pals at PPA (Pals Paper Arts). This week we’re playing with a beautiful combination of Baked Brown Sugar, Pear Pizzaz and Pumpkin Pie, a case of the fall colors.

PPA174 Color Challenge

Now why in the world would I call this a “Case”?  Hmmm.  Well, remember that invitation I extended a few months ago?  You know, the one where I said, “You send me a card you’ve made or found via email that I can CASE.  I’ll feature both yours and mine in a Freestyle Friday Blog Post.”  Remember now?

I haven’t received any “subjects” to CASE lately so it’s time to take matters into my own hands.  While digging around my “samples to save” folder I found this card by blogger Lynn M.

I love the simple fresh look combined with a little grunge.  Combining this “Sketch” with the Pals Paper Arts color challenge made the work EZ.

Two is the number of stamps I used on this one. Both of them are very basic and can be used over and over.  First, “Off the Grid” was stamped in the background with Baked Brown Sugar.  Second, Thinking of You from “Sweet Essentials” was stamped with the same ink.  Lastly, “Off the Grid” was used again to stamp three scraps of card stock as follows.

1. Baked Brown Sugar stamped on Very Vanilla and Baked Brown Sugar card stock scraps
2. Pumpkin Pie stamped on Pumpkin Pie card stock scrap
