Meadows in Velvet & More!
Welcome! It’s Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop time!
This month’s Flowers in Bloom theme couldn’t be more perfect for the month of May when everything starts to feel alive again! From soft petals to bold blooms, today’s projects are packed with fresh floral inspiration to help you create something beautiful. Whether you love clean and simple designs or layers of color and texture, you’re going to love hopping along with us!
This card was inspired by a friend and fellow demonstrator (Jarmila Vik) during her April mystery stamping event. It’s easy and shows off beautiful designer series papers, like the new Velvet Meadow Specialty Paper from Stampin’ Up! More on creating your own card on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Have you seen the new Velvet Meadows Specialty Designer Series Paper? It truly is special. Many of the elements are flocked making this paper full of velvety smooth highlights. There is also a package of coordinating Velveteen Specialty Paper. I used the Peaceful Pine piece to back up the greeting element. Here’s a closer look.
With the exception of the retired Decorative Circle Punch, all elements used to create my card today (shown below) are from the new May-August, 2026 Catalog.
Need more information for this project? Come back tomorrow (Thursday, May 14, 2026) for measurements, steps and more samples.
Keep the inspiration going. Follow the lineup below to see even more great projects! See you again in June when we share projects with the 2026-2028 In Color Family. We can’t wait to show you just how amazing these fresh new colors are.
