A Case for Kits
Now that the Preakness is over I can make my case for kits. Great race! I love that Gary Stevens won after coming out retirement to race in the Kentucky Derby and now The Preakness. Only sad thing, no Triple Crown Winner again this year.
Thanks to My Paper Pumpkin, I’ve been a able to create like crazy this month. I’ve discovered all kinds of alternate designs for the contents of my first two kits. The card shown here makes use of the last remaining pieces of the Paper Pumpkin Welcome Kit, the first kit you’ll receive when you sign up. I’m waiting patiently for May’s kit to arrive. Sure I am. 🙂
Mojo Monday sketches have also played a big part in this month’s productivity and this week is no different. Thanks a bunch Mojo Monday for your great sketches. They really s-t-r-e-t-c-h one’s creativity.
The pennants on this card are the pieces left behind after punching out the self adhesive die-cuts in the Paper Pumpkin Welcome Kit. They were then applied to a piece of the Designer Paper also included in the kit. You can check out the contents of the Welcome Kit Here. The same is true of the top flower laced with the retiring Lucky Limeade Baker’s Twine. The actual die-cut is shown on the lower flower.
The die-cut was attached to a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock that was punched with 1-3/4″ Scallop Punch. Paper Snips were used to turn the scallops into points.
Hey, the mailman just pulled up! I wonder if my pretty, red Paper Pumpkin package is here? No, couldn’t be. The tracking from Stampin’Up! said it wouldn’t be here until Monday. I’ll be right back…..
…… It’s here, it’s here! My Paper Pumpkin is here! Wanna see what’s inside this month? I think my mom’s calling…. better check back later.
See you next month for another
My Paper Pumpkin reveal….
