A Grateful Feast
Thank you for joining us for the November Pals Blog Hop. We are thankful you are visiting today and hope you enjoy a grateful feast of thank you inspired projects as you hop along today.
You should have just left stop number 19 on the Pals Hop – Donna Kopenski at craftycardmaker. If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
This year Thanksgiving at our house will be small and intimate. Perfect for adding extra touches to make everything warm and inviting.
This may look like it took a lot of time. Not with the Thankful Table-scape Simply Created Kit. It has everything you need to create a warm welcome for guests to your table.
Each Napkin Holder also has a Journaling Card for each guest to reflect on what they’re grateful for. My setting doesn’t look exactly like the kit sample. A few changes were made to coordinate with my decor. Lot’s of Birch Bark Paper, Burlap Ribbon and all of the “chalkboard” die-cuts are left over for future projects. And we all love Thanksgiving leftovers, right?
Place cards will be finished with a special, handwritten message inside. Don’t have guests coming? Treat yourself this year and make dinner special. Your place card could have a personal “note to self” inside.
I hope you saved room for the dessert. Just follow along with my fellow hoppers to see what awaits on the dessert table.
The next stop is Sherrie Gross at Stampin’ Sunshine, stop number 21 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting – and I hope to see you next month!

Your table will be so pretty! I tend to shy away from kits because of the sameness so I love how you made it your own 🙂 I’m only having four for Thanksgiving, I am motivated now to surprise my family with a few table decorations…TFS!
Go for it Shannon! It’s almost more fun to surprise those closest to us. That’s what I’m doing this year. The rest of the Envelope Holders will be used at an upcoming club to make it more special. 🙂
You have made the Table-scape kit irresistible, Rae! You have created beautiful pieces and displayed them so attractively that I want to click on through and buy the kit right now. Ha! LOVE it.
Thank you Connie. I have to admit I wasn’t super excited about this kit until I pulled it out of the bag. The promotion pictures don’t do it justice. I think part of it is the Black pieces against the warm Autumn colors that didn’t appeal to me. No problem… now I have some really cool “Chalkboard” die-cuts for another project. In fact, Debbie Mageed used hers for a banner. Check out her hop post. I think she’s number 13 on the list.
Love all your projects Rae! Your Thanksgiving table will be gorgeous!
Thank you Beth. 🙂
Wow!! You’re all set for Thanksgiving!! Very nice!! Marvelous use of the kit!!! Great job my friend!!!
Thanks a bunch Amy. First time I’ve been “all set” for years! LOL. Feels good. 🙂
Rae
I love your leaves. I have to try this myself. they add color and texture that nothing else does.
Thank you Michelle. Love those leaves.
Those projects will make an awesome tablescape! TFS, Rae!
Thank you Dawn. I’m excited to finally have the “extras” on our table this year. It will make Thanksgiving extra special for the three of us. 🙂
you made really great use of that kit, rae!
hugs, m
Thanks a bunch Mary!
Rae, I have loved the various ways the Thankful Tablescape kit is being displayed! And yours is no exception! I did not realize different color choices were available to provide different styles. It is time I opened my kit!! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely table scape!!
Thank you and you’re welcome. There’s definitely more to this kit than meets the eye. Enjoy. 🙂
Ah, you always have a great eye for details, Rae! Your table will be beautiful!
Thank you Debbie. I love what you did with the Chalkboard Die-Cuts from the kit. You and Katy are definitely Banner Experts!
Very pretty, Rae. Your table will look fabulous. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thank you Donna. 🙂
Love the burlap, the button and the way your wrapped your candles to coordinate. Very warm and inviting.
Thanks a bunch Marlene. 🙂
