A Tisket a Basket
A tisket a basket, it’s another Pals Paper Arts challenge and the colors are whispering spring. Hmm…. not much of a poet am I. Summer Starfruit, Pool Party and Old Olive band together for the perfect combination for these little Scalloped Tag Topper Mini Baskets.
I just love how they turned out. They were inspired by a little basket seen on Pinterest. The original basket was created with the Two Tags Bigz Die, now retired.
Have you ever convinced yourself not to purchase a new tool because you could do the same thing with what you already have? That’s how it was for me with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I had to be convinced. Pinterest played a big part in the convincing. Or should we say “enabling”. That seems to be a trendy word around the paper crafting community these days. And, I seem to use it a lot lately. Hmm do is there a reality show for this?
Could you create a similar tag with Framelits? Of course you could. However, the punch is quick. No pulling out the Big Shot and Framelits. Just grab the punch and go. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my Framelits.
Shhh don’t tell Framelits but punches were my first love. There’s definitely room for two loves in my tack room.
Stampin’ Up! offers two of these Tag Topper Punches. Check out the Angled Tag Topper Punch.
What can YOU do with these special tools? The possibilities are truly endless. I know, not very punny. At the risk of going nowhere with this line of humor let’s get to the Nuts and Bolts of these projects.

Thank you Michelle…. Case Away!
Hi Rae! These baskets are really cute. I bought the tag when it was on the way out thinking I would use it a lot. Never have used it. I think I would like the punch better – so handy and portable. I just might have to pull that die out and use it tomorrow.
Not that I am tooting my own horn, Susan Itell, one of the Pals has one of my cards on her blog today and she changed it a little. You will have to read my comment on her blog post, I think it will make you smile too!
Thanks Chris I’ll check out Susan’s Blog. 🙂
Soooooo cute!
Thank you Linda. 🙂
