A Wonderfall Thank You!
Friday was a great day! The start of a new weekend that ushered in UNR Wolfpack Football, Virginia City Camel Races, The Great Reno Balloon Races and Sunday NFL. Love this time of year! Even better, a new box of paper crafting goodies came my way, full of fall fun! A chance to get started on the many "Thank You's" I've been meaning to do. This particular card is for my neighbor. She brought us some minestrone soup chock full of her garden veggies. YUM! She even brought the French bread to go with it.
This may look like a tag, but it is actually an itty bitty card, hinged at the top. I'll tie up her container with and place this on top.
When it comes to card-making, there are a few things I can't get enough of, leaves and snowflakes. Stampin'Up! has a bounty of both in current catalogs. For this project, I'm using the Wonderfall stamp set and Autumn Accent Bigz Die both on page 33 of the 2012 Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog.

For the inside I used one of the sentiments from Stampin'Up!s Occasions Alphabet. It's a combination alphabet/sentiment set that's perfect for small notes or tags. "D" for Delicious fit the occasion to a "T"!

As for the soup? It's gone! Thank you Teri!

I really appreciate your feedback!

Beautiful card! With your permission I'd like to case it. Great job!
Be my guest Kim. Thank you.
What a fun and gorgeous card! You gotta quit telling us about mistakes – I thought it was a part of the natural realistic look of the acorn! Just kidding! I really didn't think it was a mistake at all. Love how you corrected it! I am sure the neighbor will love it. Who knows she might bring you some more goodies just to see another card!
LOL Chris! Well it wasn’t really a mistake. Because of the way I stamped it (paper on top of stamp) I didn’t apply enough pressure on one side. It looks like a highlight. Didn’t want to re-stamp so I pulled out my “artist brain” and went to work. I like to “tell” on myself so other people will be encouraged to experiment. Thanks for the great comment!
