Anything Goes with Pals
Pals
Welcome to the Pals’ July Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects that are “Mixing It Up” – adding texture that will really take your projects up a notch – or two! You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal. Anything Goes with Pals
Texture, there are so many ways to add it. Take a close look and you’ll find lots of texture within my project today. How many can you count?
Lay down the background with embossing folders. Embossing folders are perfect for transforming any project from nice to WOW! Here you see the new Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder (#149579)
Paper Piecing is one of my favorite “texture techniques” and Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (#149484) makes it easy to do. Tiny little Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals hold up the individual layers.
Ribbons and trinkets complete the package. If you love romantic or shabby chic cards, you’ll love the ribbons this year. Featured here are some of my favorites.
- Petal Pink 5/8″ Organdy Striped Ribbon (#149441)
- Very Vanilla 3/8″ Scalloped Lace Trim (#149593)
- Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (#149485) I only used the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread
I won’t keep you long today so you can enjoy the rest of the projects Pals have for you today. Before I go, don’t forget the inside of your card.
Did you know? You can purchase many of these items as a suite. Check out the Magnolia Lane Suite Bundle (#152178) on Page 37 of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. Don’t worry, each item may still be purchased separately.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 14, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share their “Special Occasions” projects. Don’t miss the fun!
