Come on Spring!
Even if the weather doesn’t say it, a change is coming. Here’s a little nudge of spring color from Pals Paper Arts to ease us into the beautiful, vibrant hues we’ll soon see everywhere. Come on spring!
Have you ever created a card, stood back and said to yourself, “Nope, something’s missing”? Well, that’s what happened with this project. It was all done, or so I thought.
Placing words in the white hexagons crossed my mind but there was already enough structure. How about some ink spatter?
I pulled the hexagons off the background, stamped the ink spatter from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set speckles and re-attached everything. It was worth the time for sure. Be careful when pulling apart a deeply embossed card. Textured embossing make card stock fragile. When I disassembled this project, I almost ruined it.
Those small hexagons are pieces popped from the new Hexagon Hive Thinlit. They fit the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder perfectly!
A few more hexagons keep the inside sentiment company. That’s it!
Don’t forget to play at Pals Paper Arts!

Rae, the buttons are a fabulous finishing touch to the card. And I really like the way you carried the hexagons on the inside of the card. A clean and simple card that rocks the challenge.
Thank you Michelle!
