Cut Flowers for the Pals
Cut Flowers for the pals
Welcome to the August 2017 Pals Blog Hop. Thank you so much for joining us today. This month we’re going to “Cut It Out”. where we’ll show you projects with “cuts” from punches, dies, Framelits, Edgelits, or Thinlits.
Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of this post to help you move along.
Cut Flowers for the pals
The Home Life Bundle is my “cut” of choice today. This unique bundle wasn’t really on my “must have” list. But, sometimes it’s fun to work with a product that’s out of our comfort zone. So glad I gave it a chance.
Interaction: My first objective was to do something different with this set, to stretch it a little. An interactive card was just the ticket. This one can be used as shown or change the inside sentiment and slip a gift card in for newlyweds or a new homeowner.
Details: Check out the chimney. It’s created with Embossing Paste, dabbed with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink. No tinting necessary. Shingles are created with strips of Designer Series Paper, glued only on the top edge and curled up at the bottom. Don’t forget to distress a little. Linen Thread is wrapped around and on top of the Delicate White Doily.
Cut Flowers for the Pals? You may be asking, “Where are the cut flowers?” Well, here’s the long and short of it. I changed horses in mid-stream but the title was set. They may be potted flowers but there are flowers.
Thank you so much for hopping with the Stampin’ Pretty Pals today. Don’t forget to leave us a comment. We’d love to hear what you have to say about our creative “Cuts”. Now hop along using the Blog Hop Line-up below.
Please take a minute to mark your calendar for our next hop on September 13, 2017 for “My Favorite Season”.
