Ready for a challenge?  I’m excited to be a new member of  the Creative Creases Challenges Design Team and am ready to have some fun with, starting with this Double Time Creases card.  How about you?  The fold I chose for Challenge #39 is the Double-GateF old. This fold looks so much harder than it is. Take a look.

Need a unique card? The Double-Gate folded card is a step up from the norm and easily customizable. Your finished project will look like it took hours to create.

I used the Texture Chic Suite to create the card.  The Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper in this suite is beautifully eclectic, complete with boho style and seasonal images. Check it out!

The greeting medallion can be die-cut using the 1-3/4″ die from Layer Circles or punched with a 1-3/4″ punch. The outer piece is punched twice with the Decorative Circle Punch. Once from the designer paper and once from Basic White Cardstock, then layered together for extra support. 

Add some bling with the the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds. Then accent with a few die cuts from the bundle.  I also smudged the edges as I did on the inside piece below.

Here’s a shot of the Season of Chic Bundle that brings the suite together. There’s something for every season in this suite.

The inside is smudged using Blending Brushes and Soft Succulent Classic Ink. The corners are stamped gently with a couple of the texture stamps.  I used Soft Succulent and Mango Melody for the texture and Evening Evergreen for the greeting.

This fold makes the card easy to display too.
