Eat, Drink and Be Scary
It’ll be time to Eat, Drink and Be Scary before you can say, “Boo!” and these three amigos are ready to party.
We did just that with a group of friends this weekend. We call ourselves the Paper Dolls. Every month or so, we pick a theme and get together to cards and great food. Three people offer cards and the rest bring the food. Simple and fun. This card was my contribution. Read on to see the rest of the cards we made.
When creating a card, I try to use one stamp set whenever possible. In this case I needed a few elements that weren’t available in the Fall Fest Bundle (137628).
In comes a stamp set that’s been sitting on my shelf, waiting for the perfect opportunity to come out and play. Holiday Invites (#135074) was given to me at the 2014 Create. Inspire. Share convention. I really didn’t think I’d use it but it was just the ticket to turn this nice card into a perfect card. The little elements are a perfect size for your Project Life pages too!
You may think the moon was created with the “Hombre” technique. No, no, au contraire. It’s part of the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper (#135074) package. In fact, you’ll get six sheets like this in three different colors (Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow).
The cute little pumpkins are topped with bows made of Linen Thread #104199. It’s obvious, these girls just wanna have fun!
Now for some more inspiration from the September Paper Dolls gathering.
