Elegant Mother’s Day Bouquet
Are you all ready for Mother’s Day? You are? GREAT! Now that you’re all ready to give Mom that special day, how about sending and elegant Mother’s Day bouquet to a sister, aunt or friend? Pull out the Big Shot and your Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder to whip this project up in no time at all! In fact, it came together so quickly, I made two with different embossing folders. We’re really “In The Pink” today!
The Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder is on the list of Retiring Accessories this year. Another item I hate to see go. One of the items I NEVER get rid of are my Embossing Folders. But, that’s not the only retiring item on this project. The Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Rose Red Card stock and Ink and accessories are all leaving us. They’ve been with us for a very long time and ready to move over for some newcomers. The Scallop Dots Pretty in Pink Ribbon will move along with them.
The “Sister” stamp is part of “Loved Ones”, a set that retired last year. Thanks to MDS it can still be enjoyed for years to come! If you really want a traditional stamp set, a great substitution is the retiring “Family Reunion” also found below. Just click on the image for more information.
Quick project #2 is for Mom. Same card stock, stamp set (well one of them) and ribbon, different embossing folder and punches and just as fast.
Another embossing folder I absolutely love is Elegant Lines. I’ve used this one over and over to add deep, texture to projects that needed just a little more. Remember the Carrot Treat Box for Easter?
The pink was just a little too “Pink” for me so little butterflies were added to break it up. Whisper White card stock was stamped with Certainly Celery Classic Ink and Tiny Tags, both retiring this month.
Then punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch. Embellishments compliments of Pearls Basic Jewels. And there you have it! Two quick, last minute projects for special ladies in your life.
