“Free”style Friday Guest Stamper
Yay! The weekend is finally here. Ready for a guest stamper? Welcome Mary Harper, my mom. She’s spent few weeks with me and I’ve finally turned her into a full fledged stamping addict! Sorry? 🙂 Doesn’t hurt that I’m partial to the stamp image she used from Stampin’Up!s Horse Frontier stamp set.
While I was out this afternoon, she decided to master a technique she’s been admiring… ink embossing. I think she did a great job inking the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, don’t you?
She’s a very talented fine artist so I’m really not surprised how well she’s taken to this art form. I love how she used the Linen Thread. Wonder how she adhered it to the card? Anywhere Glue Stick!
She took the thread and ran it through the glue stick much like you do when staining Baker’s Twine and Classic Ink. Genius! That lariat isn’t going anywhere.
Almost forgot… today is her birthday too! But please, don’t tell her I told you. It’ll be our little secret. 🙂

I agree, talent “does” run in the family. Beautiful card Mary!
It’s really lovely. Now we know were you got your talent from.
Thank you for the great compliment Ruth & Anne.
Like Mother Like Daughter – both talented women. Good Job.
