Happy Dirtday x 2
What do you do for non-identical twin boys birthday gifts? Give them non-identical birthday cards, of course! Even the gifts are similar but not quite the same. Happy Dirtday x 2! I had almost as much fun making these cards as my husband and I had visiting these lively two year-olds.
I Dig You was perfect for these two. They’re all boy for sure! Unfortunately, this is another stamp set that is retiring tomorrow (Monday, June 3, 2013. It’s such a fun set and can be used for young and old alike. And, since many of my family members are or have been in the “dirt” construction trade this one will get a lot of use. I’m so sad to see it go.
Can you spot the other item that is retiring on June 3, 2013? I’ll admit, this is kind of a trick question. There are also two items in the picture that retired earlier. One of them retired with the 2012 Holiday Catalog and one retired with the end of the 2011-2012 Annual Catalog. Confused yet?
Hint, the retiring item is gray.
Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (#126902) added the right element of fun and made the variation easy. Lots of bright, vibrant colors to choose from. This is an item that IS NOT going way this year. Yay!
Would you like to see a glimpse of the twins? I can’t very well talk about them without introducing you. That would just be rude. Their personalities are as different as their hair color. Fun, fun, fun!
These cards are pretty basic, no special techniques and the inspiration came from another Stampin’Up! Demonstrator (not sure of the name). Super easy.
