It’s Your Day!
If you’re looking for a challenge, it’s your day! We have just the fun you’re looking for at Pals Paper Arts. It’s the first sketch challenge for Design Team 2 and we’re up to the task.
When at all possible, I try to use only one stamp set on a project. However, I have two new sets that seemed to be a perfect match, Tag It and Yippee-Skipee. Just like two peas in a pod, they compliment each other with just the right touch of whimsy.
“Tag It” is the Ronald McDonald House stamp set for 2013/2014. That means for ever “Tag It” stamp set sold, $3.00 will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities to help families who have children with serious illnesses. This is one of the cutest sets in the book and it coordinates with the Chalk Talk Framelits.
I bet you’re wondering where the 3-1/2″ scalloped circle came from. How about My Digital Studio (MDS) paired with an e-cutter? Here’s what I did.
- Open a new project in MDS.
- Drag the scallop circle punch onto the page.
- Re-size the punch to 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″.
- Export to file format required for your e-cutter.
- Import to your e-cutter program and cut.
With MDS you can have the perfect size punch for any project.
The stamp was colored with Stampin’Write Markers. A small rhinestone adds a twinkle in the little lizard’s eye.
The inside comes alive with the combination of Yippee-Skipee and balloons from the Tag It stamp set. And don’t for get the envelope to pull it all together.

I love, love, love the lizard card! The google-y eye, the bakers twine wrapped around the scallop and polka dots won me over!
Diane, thanks a bunch! I love this whole set. One of the best Ronald McDonald fund-raising sets I think I’ve ever seen. Glad you like him. 🙂
Fabulous, Rae! I love the creative use of the twine. What a “WOW” factor!

Love it Rae! I am so impressed that you used a ecutter with MDS. I can’t decide on my favorite part of the card – the scallop circle treatment or the fun inside of the card. I declare it a dead heat!
