Kinda Eclectic Color Challenge PPA227
Thursday brings another autumn color challenge from Pals Paper Arts. One thing about Autumn… there’s no shortage of vibrant color for inspiration.
The Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set, with it’s earthy elements, is my set of choice to showcase the trio of Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.
You won’t find the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set in the 2014 Holiday Catalog or Supplement. You WILL find it in the Annual Catalog, on page 164 along with another cute idea shown here.
A few simple tools put the finishing touches on today’s project, starting with my favorite background “stamp” the Adhesive Remover (#103684).
Just ink it up and lightly stamp to create an all-over, grungy background. Clean-up is a breeze. Run the Adhesive Remover under warm water and pat dry. The tool is ready to use again, good as new. Click here for directions on how to make “snow” using this versatile tool.
Next on the “must have” list are the Stampin’ Sponges (#101610). Use sponges to apply color to edges adding instant dimension. You’ll get three sponges that can be cut into smaller wedges. Keep them clean by running them under warm water. Set aside to dry.
Lastly, you’ll need the Stampin’ Distress Tool (#127562) to rough up the edges and finish the look.
Don’t forget to fray edges of ribbon, twine and burlap too. Add a few refined embellishments, like pearls, for a touch of class.
Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s Kinda Eclectic Color Challenge from Pals Paper Arts. We’d love to have you play with us this week. Visit Pals Paper Arts to find out how.
