New Sheriff in Town
There’s a new sheriff in town and he’s a cool dude. I’ve had this idea swimming around in my head for a while now. So, when Mary Fish asked me if I’d like to be one of her Guest Stampers I jumped at the chance to share this idea.
The inspiration for him came from the towering gift boxes stuffed with yummy sweets that seem to be everywhere this time of year.
When he was first created he had no hat. But, he looked incomplete. Any self-respecting sheriff (and snowman) must have a hat, right?
I really thought he was finished at this point. Then a little piece of Cherry Cobbler Linen Ribbon, all tied in a knot, seemed to appear on my work table. It must have been left over from a previous project. That little piece of ribbon was the perfect finishing touch. Now he was ready for his public debut.
The “must have” tool for this project? The Gift Box Punch Board (#135863).
Sure, you could create the Sheriff without the Gift Box Punch Board but why would you? This inexpensive tool eliminates guesswork and the need for multiple tools cluttering up your workspace. The measurements are printed right on the surface, grooves for scoring are cut in and the score tool is tucked right inside.

No snow here at the coast but your snowman would sure look cute on the table. Thanks for sharing him!
Thank you Rosemarie. No snow in Reno proper but it’s right where we need it…. in the Sierras!
Oh Rae, this little cowboy snowman is oozing cuteness!!!!! how stinking adorable he is. I’ve hopped here from Mary Fish’s blog to tell you how much a love this little guy. My grandchildren will come to my house for a few hours tomorrow so I will get my paper and markers and ink and the punch board and keep them entertained for a while making this fabulous project.

Many paper hugs.
