No Stress Holidays with Pals
Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Home for the Holidays, so the design team created a project for the holiday of their choice. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
We’re closing in on one of the most stressful times of the year. The gifts, the trees, the decorating, the food….. Yikes! Time to take a nice deep breath and hit the “easy button” before it’s too late! Easy doesn’t have to mean dull and uninteresting.
The key, choose the right Designer Series Paper (DSP), add some ribbon and sparkle and let them do all the work.
No Stress Nuts & Bolts:
Cut it:
- Card Base – Evening Evergreen CS 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Layer 1 – Gold Glimmer Paper 4″ x 5-1/4″ (plus extra for focal piece)
- Layer 2 – DSP 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
- Inside – Very Vanilla 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ (plus extra for greeting)
- Ribbon – Approximately 1 yard
Construct it:
- Layer #2 & #3 then adhere to the card base.
- Adhere #4 to inside of card
- Wrap ribbon and tie in a bow, or knot. Tip: take a small piece of ribbon or twine and tie the wrapped ribbon at the top. Tie a nice bow and arrange the ribbon as desired.
- Stamp greeting on a piece of Very Vanilla CS and color. Punch with Decorative Circle Punch.
- Punch Gold Glimmer paper with Decorative Label Punch, cut punched piece in half.
- Stagger and affix #5 behind #4 with Dimensionals. Adhere this piece over ribbon with Dimensionals.
- Enjoy!
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on December 14th. Our theme will be Last Minute Gift/Card Ideas.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
