Paper Pumpkin Pie Construction
Caution! My Paper Pumpkin pie under construction. Well, kind of. I know you’re used to seeing finished projects here but I thought it would be fun to share a “work in progress” also. October’s Paper Pumpkin Pie Kit has subscribers assemble eight cute treat box wedges. When arranged, they create a Paper Pumpkin Pie. (see photo below).
Super cute idea but it didn’t fit my decor. Hmm. How about a paper pumpkin pie wreath?
First, we need a base. I decided to tear my Frightful Wreath apart (Simply Created Kit #135866) and wrap the styrofoam base with 1-1/4″ Burlap Ribbon (#132140). Next, I used a hot-melt glue gun to attach the Glimmer Spiderweb, again from the Frightful Wreath. Everything else (to this point anyway) comes from the Sweet As Pie Paper Pumpkin Kit (October’s subscriber kit). I’m happy with how it’s coming together so far. It’s time to set it aside, in a conspicuous place to see how it grows.
Now to use the three remaining paper pumpkin pie pieces.
