For All Things Fall
Welcome to another beautiful trio of colors from Pals Paper Arts and For All Things Fall. Just right to usher in the change of colors. I can’t believe it’s been over a week since updating the blog. Whew, what a week of creating. Look for few of the projects in the next few days. For now, let’s focus on the colors of PPA218, Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake and Hello Honey.
If you’ve followed Wild West Paper Arts for the last couple of years you probably know that I love the leaves of autumn. When these colors came up, there was no question what would be created.
Here’s how this cute little tag is created.
First, use your Big Shot and the Autumn Accents Bigz Die to cut a maple leaf tag (or card).
Next, use your Big Shot to add texture by embossing with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Now the fun begins. Use a Stampin’ Sponge to distress the edges of the leaf with Hello Honey and Crumb Cake. Finishing off the tips with Blackberry Bliss. Use the sponge again with Crumb Cake to lightly distress the raised edges of the embossed woodgrain. Then, use your Adhesive Remover as a stamp to add a little Blackberry Bliss to the embossed leaf. Click here to see my original post on this easy technique. Lastly, swipe 2-way Glue around the edges of the leaf and sprinkle Gold Stampin’ Glitter of the glue. Set aside to dry.
While the base is drying, create the focal pieces using the new For All Things Stamp Set featured in the 2014 Holiday Catalog from Stampin’ Up!
Apply a little glitter to the leaves with 2-Way Glue, add some ribbon and you’ll have cute tags for the season.
Now hurry and enter Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge PPA218 before the deadline, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at noon eastern. A new challenge is published this Thursday.

Thank you Penny. 🙂
Wow this is amazing. Another beautiful piece of work of art that is truly from your heart. You never cease to amaze me with your creativity!
Susan, thank you so much for the great comment and compliment. 🙂
This is stunning, Rae! I love it so much, I decided to add it to the Stamp Club projects for my ladies this Friday. Played around with it and made a Cajun Craze version with Champagne Glimmer Paper and some gold embossing splashes. So many fun ways you can change up this gift card! Thanks for sharing!
Susan, I’d love to see your version! Thank you. The ultimate compliment. 🙂
Gorgeous, Rae! I studied this for awhile and just love all the touches you’ve added to the left. I’m going to share this with a friend who wants to make a “leaf wreath” for all. This would be a perfect addition. Thanks for joining DT 1 this week!
Thank you Dawn. Thinking it over again, I think I would try Dazzling Diamonds as an alternative to Gold glitter. Good luck.
