PPA239 Color Challenge with the Pals
Surprise! It’s PPA239 Color Challenge with the Pals! Inspiration for this sweet and simple card comes from Ruth B., a dear friend of mine. She created a red and white version using the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder that was striking.
You may be asking, “Rae, why did you cover up part of your card?” First, you can always flip back to Pals Paper Arts to see the original.
Since Valentine’s Day is upon us I decided to create an alternate version. By replacing Happy Valentine’s Day from That’s the Ticket with a cute little tag, part of From the Garden Bundle it’s more than a
Valentine! Best part, the bundle is on sale this week. Wahoo!
I have to confess, From the Garden Bundle wasn’t even on my radar. But, it kept begging me to give it a chance. Kind of like a dress on the rack you pass up but something (maybe your best friend) tells you to try it on. Then, it becomes your favorite!
The change is subtle and makes a big difference.
So glad I tried this one on! It’s only been part of my tool family for a little while and I’ve used it several times.
Here’s a closer look of that cute little tag.
Carry the layout through to the inside to finish your card perfectly.

Thank you Windy. I’ve seen lots of great cards made with it.
Rae, I love this design. Using the embossing folder for texture and accenting a line of hearts with color is so striking!
