PPA253 Sketch Challenge with Pals
Hey look, it’s Thursday time to play PPA253 Sketch Challenge with Pals! Nicole Watt has given us another great sketch to play with.
As soon as I saw this sketch, the grassy image from Adventure Bound Paper Stack (#137780) came to mind. The angled bottom edge reminds me of the hills and sand traps of a golf course. A perfect Father’s Day or birthday card for golfing dads.
The golf ball is created by embossing a piece of Whisper White card stock with the Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#133520). Make sure you turn it over to show the dimpled side. Can’t have a golf ball without a tee right? Just snip a little pennant from the grassy paper again then turn it over and adhere it with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
The sentiment comes from Build A Bouquet photopolymer stamp set (#137166). Isn’t this the perfect phrase for Dad? Heat emboss it in white on another piece of the Adventure Bound Paper Stack to make it POP. I know I’ve said it before so here goes again. I’m really going to miss this stamp set when it retires next week. I think this one’s a keeper! So many ideas with this one. Remember the gold and black creation from last week? Yep, same stamp set. Interesting, it was PPA252! Is there a pattern? Now THAT’s Wild!
I think that’s about it. Almost forgot… don’t forget to come out and play with us this week! Come play PPA253 Sketch Challenge with Pals!
