Pretty Sparkling Pines and Wood Gift Tag — 20 Comments

  1. Rae – I love your tag! Rustic is one of my favorites – I remember the days when tearing the paper and roughing the edges was popular.
You have an amazing eye for detail!

  2. Rae, this is truly a work of art that sparkles and shines! I love how you created this project and gave us all the instructions. I might just have to try my hand at this idea. Thanks for sharing 🙂

  3. This is so darn realistic like a sign made out of barn wood! Gorgeous or stunning is more like it. I love this. Not sure what the oops part is you were covering up but it worked! Love it!

    • Thank you so much Chris. Actually, I didn’t cover up my oops, it just works with the rustic, aged look. It’s the red bleed through on the creamy ribbon and the gold Noel behind the Whisper White. The gold didn’t show up well so I took a VersaMark marker and traced over the gold embossing, then embossed with Whisper White. I love the result. To me it looks like someone painted the word on an old fence with a brush.

      • You are so right about painting on the fence! Simply stunning like I said before. Let’s see, I commented twice (replying to your reply) so if everybody comments back from your comment we are on our way to 100 comments. Let’s see I could use my husband’s E-mail for a comment and set up an account for Ted, our basset hound but he probably would get more E-mail than I do!
