Season of Big Bow Style
Cards are in the mail (I hope), gifts have been selected (well almost)… it’s time to get your gift wrapping started (or at least planned)! This Season of Big Bow Style project is both elegant and easy. No, really. The box is already made and the Big Bow Bigz L Die helps create the bow in no time at all.
How many times have you been able to say to yourself, “Self, this was a great purchase?” It usually happens to me when I’ve been admiring something from afar and finally make the plunge. I always have to make sure a tool can be used for more than the obvious. That’s how it was with the Big Bow Bigz L Die. The deciding factor? All of the cute projects posted on Pinterest made with the Big Bow Die. You’ll find angels and turkeys and snowmen galore floating around the internet, not to mention bows.
Kraft paper and boxes, cardboard and burlap are staples in the Wild West Tack Room. There just so happened to be a few scraps of Season of Style and Natural Composition DSP (short for Designer Series paper) lying around making it easy to come up with this homespun gift box and bow. Originally the top of the box was reserved for an “earthy” angel (Isn’t that a song?). However, as scraps were gathered and glue was applied the Big Bow won out.
This little package is already reserved for my mom this year. Mom, if you’re reading, bet you can’t guess what’s inside.
