Season of Tags
Do you have oodles and oodles of little scraps lying around? If you’re like many of us, you probably keep shapes and scraps of pretty paper and card stock tucked away in every corner, just knowing you’ll use them one day. Get ready for the holidays, it’s a season of tags!
This past few weeks, I’ve been cutting ribbon, scoring paper and sorting “doo-dads” of all kinds for a tag-building event. Boy, oh boy did I have an awakening! Now you know why the posts have been fewer than usual. It feels so good to finally put these scraps to good use. Featured today are a few samples that will be featured on “Idea Boards” around the event.
The “Gift” tag makes use of the Season of Style Washi Tape scraps left on a roll.
The next tag features a little scrap from the Season of Style Paper Pack and Gumball Green card stock. In fact, if you look close, you’ll notice a little notch missing on a leaf. The scrap was just a little too narrow. Oh well, nothing’s perfect. 🙂
And, my favorite, a cute little birdie. Uh-oh, there’s that notched leaf again.
All of the tags in this post share the same stamp set (More Merry Messages) , color scheme and paper. With a one stamp set, a few punches and a little imagination, your gift tags can be done in little time with scraps you already have on hand.
Today’s Featured Items:
- Stamp Set – More Merry Messages (Clear Mount #126402, Wood Mount #126400)
- Designer Series Paper – Season of Style Paper Pack (#132181)
- Washi Tape – Season of Style (#132155)

Wow! I love them all! They are just adorable! TFS!
Thank you Missy! They were just as fun to make!
How cute – I can’t pick a favorite one! I do have scraps in just about every room it seems like! I think I will make another of a certain card and leave the remnants behind but then never get back to that. I need to get the boxes out of my craft room so I can actually set it up and use! Anyway, I love these tags and may just have to make a set for a friend’s birthday present so she can use them for Christmas. Actually she would be the one to decorate her old stamp holder (librarian or accountant type) metal that held “paid” stamps etc. on it. She makes that her tree! I think it is time for some new ornaments! Thanks for sharing a fun project!
These are all just adorable! Great inspiration. Tags are just so fun…..once you get in the groove, it is hard to stop! Thanks for sharing.
Oh these are so stinkin’ cute Rae. I love them to bits. So festive and guaranteed smiles!!!! ooxx
