Season of Tags
Is your heart racing because you have so much to do before December 25th? Here’s a quick idea to doll up your gift-wrapping chores in this season of tags.
Round up left-over Season of Style Journaling tags, scraps of card stock and some ribbon or twine. Add Dazzling Details glitter glue and work magic for your packages in no time at all. You can use old Christmas cards, broken jewelry, the sky’s the limit. Just have FUN! I even found some tiny punched circles inside the catcher of my hole punch. Is this what is referred to as a “chad”?
Anyway, the point is… get creative with what you have around you to make the holidays more manageable.
Here’s a close up of some of the featured tags. For the first one, I popped up the Season’s Greetings, distressed everything and added some Dazzling Details to make each light sparkle.
Next, I went a little “nutso”. But it works for the vintage, homespun look. Lot’s of doodles, bling and everything else on this one!
The third tag is super, super easy. This is when the secret chad stash was discovered. After using the punch to create a tiny Glimmer circle and releasing the lip to retrieve it, there they were, a treasure trove of dots!
And lastly a tag created specifically for the naughty people.
All of these gift tags were created with fun, leftover items in this year’s Christmas stash of supplies. What will you create?
