Serene Scenery Patterns for Pals July Blog Hop
Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop, July 2016. We’re so thankful you stopped by to enjoy our July 2016 Blog Hop, “It’s a Pattern Party”. This month we feature projects using our favorite Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper and coordinating embellishments. Stampin’ Up! and Serene Scenery patterns make it so easy to mix and match colors. The amazing selection of embellishments provides a wonderful finished look to our projects and yours. We hope you enjoy and are inspired by our projects.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full Blog Hop Line-up will help you move along from blog to blog so you may enjoy all our projects.
Sometimes a simple, elegant card is all you need to show your thoughtfulness. Easy to create and the post office will love you!
Set the Mood with photo-realistic images softened with Vellum cut with the Sunburst Thinlits Die. Instead of adding bulk, try a great sentiment from the Layering Love Stamp Set.
Little Things like a nest of Linen Thread and Bitty Butterflies add a touch of whimsy, keeping your card warm and crafty.
Keeping it clean is easy when color, embellishments and stamp sets are kept to a minimum. Tiny Basic Pearls, a little heart from the Brights Enamel Shape Collection and three basic colors (Whisper White excluded) are all you need for this one. In fact, the only ink color used is Early Espresso Classic Ink.
Next time you need a quick, elegant card, think about using a sheet from the Serene Scenery Designer Paper Stack. You’ll find a beautiful variety of both photos and graphic images in this paper stack.
Thank you so much for visiting today. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you for next month’s Pals Blog Hop!

Serene Scenery Product Round-up:
How fablous! What a brillant idea to use the starburst vellum! Beautiful card :>
Thank you Jennifer!
Such a pretty, fresh card, Rae! I love how you layered the vellum sunburst over the beautiful DSP. Just the right amount of embellishments with the perfect sentiment, to finish. Perfection!
Thank you Pam!
Love your card… thank you showing us your awesome creativity in the hop!!!
Thank you so much for the compliment AND your comment Karen.
I never would’ve thought of softening an image with vellum. Off to the craft room to try it. I’m so happy you taught me something today. Love it!
Thanks Maggie! I wish I could take credit but I think I saw vellum used this way on Pinterest. Yay Pinterest!
Love your card Rae! You’re enabling me to purchase more paper!
Thanks Beth… sorry for the expensive post. LOL! Paper hoarders unite!
What Chris said…. It’s a fantastic card, Rae. Now I need to go and make a dozen or so!!
Thank you Katy!
The sunburst vellum is a neat touch like the sun rays coming in a window. Of course the little enamel heart and the linen thread adds texture. A great scene!
Thank you Chris. I was looking for something to add subtle “something”. It worked!
