Take Flight with Witches’ Brew MOJO310
Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was full of summer ending fun. This is the first time I’ve had the time to play Mojo Monday for quite some time. Mojo, the perfect word to use for the charm and fun of Halloween projects. Are you ready to take flight with Witch’s Brew?
This sketch was so much fun. I’ve been looking for a reason to put a witches broom on a card. My husband was just commenting that I needed to update my transportation. What do you think of the new model? I just took it for a test-flight, the MPG is fantastic!
To make the broom:
Broomstick:
Roll a piece of Witches’ Brew Designer Series Paper around straw or something similar. Slip the straw out of the rolled paper and secure it with Sticky Strip.
Bristles:
- Cut another piece of Witches’ Brew DSP about 2-3/4″ by 4″.
- Score lengthwise with Stampin’ Trimmer at 1″ and 1-1/4″ from one side. These score lines will be used as a guide for your snips.
- Snip narrow strips (bristles) from one edge to the score line, the full length of the paper. Repeat on the other edge. Don’t worry about snipping exactly the same widths
- Roll the “Bristle” piece around one end of the broomstick. Secure with Sticky Strip.
- Decorate with ribbon.
That’s it!
