Welcome to this week’s sketch challenge from Pals Paper Arts.  Yesterday a sneak peek was shown in the Wild West Weekly Updates.  Here it is using the newly released, limited edition, Thoughtful Branches for PPA312.

The sketch this week is given to us by fellow Pals Designer, Linda Callahan of Stampin’ Seasons. I love this simple, straightforward style.  A perfect sketch to get the creative juices flowing.

There are SO many beautiful samples using this new set.  Have you seen them?  I decided to take a different approach inspired by this sketch.

The card is pretty straight forward except for the Watermelon Wonder floral piece right behind the sentiment.

To create this piece:

1. Use Watermelon Wonder Classic Ink to stamp the Floral image on Whisper White Cardstock.
2. Die cut this piece with the matching Thinlet die.  Important:  DO NOT LINE IT UP!
3. Press the front of the entire piece directly on to your Watermelon Wonder stamp pad.  Let dry.
4. Trim away enough of the piece to fit slightly over the Daffodil Delight circle.
5. After everything is assembled, affix tiny Basic Pearl Jewels to the flower and brush Clear Wink of Stella all over it.

Don’t forget the inside!

Voila!  A special, thoughtful card to brighten the day.
