Wonderful Quick Wreath Tag
What did you do on World Card Making Day? Did you got a head start on holiday greetings? The Wild West Tack Room was bustling with preparations for our 2nd Annual Build-A-Tag Party. The Wonderful Quick Wreath Tag is one of the samples created this weekend.
Our Build-A-Tag Party is an annual event to help everyone get some of their holiday tags and doo-dads done before the hectic season is in full swing. It’s a marathon of sorts. We save scraps, embellishments, old greeting cards, ribbon, and the like during the year and serve them up to you buffet style. You make as many tags as possible in four hours, a real win-win. Feel a sense of accomplishment and while we clear out the old to get ready for the new.
The Wonderful Quick Wreath Tag started with a card donated for the event. The original card had the words “Season’s Greetings” embossed in gold across the bottom. As my good friend Janell would say, I “cannibalized” the card by cutting it apart making as many elements as possible for guests to use.
Do you see what I see? Doesn’t the image look like it could be die-cut with the Wonderful Wreath Framelit?
Well, would you look at that. Perfect!
Not too shabby, eh? The Die-Cut “Joy”, also a part of the Wonderful Wreath Framelits set, adds the finishing touch.
If you don’t already have this set of Wonderful Wreath Framelits (#135851), purchase the Wonderous Wreath Bundle (#137624) and save 15%. You’ll definitely want the coordinating stamp set. Do a quick check on Pinterest to find some fantastic projects made from this bundle.
It’s so much fun to use scraps and tools to re-purpose something instead of throwing it away. Saves time too!
What will you do with your scraps, build a Wonderful Quick Wreath Tag?
This project, as well as many other ideas will be on display for inspiration at the Build-A-Tag Party on November 1, 2014. Join us for four hours of fun! Click here for more information. You’ll have a great time!
