Bloomin’ Butterfly Basket
I’m really beginning to love kits. There’s just so much you can do in a short time. This Bloomin’ Butterfly Basket is prime example. The flowers in the basket are from the Bloomin’ Bouquet Kit (#134542) shown below.

The kit comes with 13 die-cut flowers, Vintage Crystal Buttons and Wire Stems as well as labels to complete your bouquet. The basket was an idea I came up with for Memorial Day. With the help of the Big Shot, some dies and embossing folders it came together quickly and will be around to enjoy when the live flowers have wilted.
Stampin’Up!’s Water Color Paper (#122959) was used to create the basket. The heavy weight (140#) makes it hold up when filled with the flowers. No tipping over here. I also really like the way it embosses. Lots of deep definition, especially when using the Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#119277). Beware, this embossing folder retires on June 3, 2013! If you don’t have it think about adding it to your collection before it’s too late! Click here to check out all the retiring items.

Although the flowers in the Bloomin’ Bouquet Kit are beautiful on their own, I added a few little butterflies created with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit (#118138) for a little extra fun.
