PPA272 Sketch Challenge Evolution
Hi there! Did you play PPA272 with my Pals at Pals Paper Arts last week? I didn’t! You’d think a simple and straight forward sketch like this would be, well, simple and straight forward. Oh, but no, not me. Let’s see how complicated Rae can make this. LOL!
Does this happen to you or am I the only person in the world of paper crafting that struggles with clean and simple designs?
What you see above is the finished product but it’s really the third edition. Third time’s a charm, right? Every time I thought it was done, the photography told me me a different story. For instance, Santa and his sleigh looked flat without a little Silver Sparkle and Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details.
Here’s a shot of the first edition.
Another area that need a little extra zing is the Snowflake Element. It was already heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder for the first edition but it needed to sparkle along with Santa and his entourage. Out came the Silver Stampin’ Glitter applied to a thin line of clear glue from the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
Glitter was also applied to center of snowflakes on the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper. Love this paper!
The cute Sleigh and Reindeer image is included in the Cozy Christmas Stamp Set available in Red Rubber both Wood and Clear Mount Versions. The magic of this card wouldn’t be complete without the inside.
This Cozy Christmas Stamp Set is part of the 15% Off Stamps Sale this week at Stampin’ Up! Better hurry… the sale ends on Friday, October 23, 2015!
