Time Changes Stink in my book!
Although I love Daylight Savings Time, the time changes itself sinks! Anyone else think Time Changes Stink?
It seems like disdain for the change from Standard Time to Daylight Savings Time in the U.S. has been all over the news. Why not have a little fun with it, right?
Inspiration came from the poop emoji’s that seem to be everywhere, Thanks to my 12-year old niece’s sense of humor, it’s even in my home.
Poop Evolution: The first iteration of the card was created for a monthly card group. Three of us create a “shoebox” swap and the rest bring food. With all the negative and sad news these days, we decided our theme would be silly or funny cards this month. And here’s my contribution to the mix.?

Poop Composition. The emoji is created with the Frozen Treats Framelits. Bet you don’t think of the ice cream Framelit quite the same next time.

The Layers are pretty straight forward. Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock is used for the base. If you haven’t tried it, you should. It really makes a difference, especially with multi-layered cards. Layering Squares are used for the focal point background. Designer Series Paper strips, in all versions, is part of the True Gentleman paper pack.

Well, This Just Stinks comes from one of the cutest sets in my tack room, “Here for you” . (You really should click here to see this cute set!) It’s stamped on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink then punched using the retired Washi Label Punch. One of the cards is also layered with Night of Navy Cardstock.
Face it! The Cookie Cutter Punch will take care of the eyes for you and a white pen is used for the mouth.
Tie it up with Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and Linen Thread. I love this ribbon!
One final note…. where in the world did this obsession with soft serve poop come from, anyway? I’d love to know.
All this stinky talk has made me tired. I think I’ll go take a nap. After all, it’s National Nap Day.

You got that right, poor ice cream die won’t be the same! Maybe I can just convince myself it is dark chocolate with brownie pieces and marshmallows! At least we are having fun or at least making me smile and I bet you are too. Love the adornments on the hat for St. Paddy’s day. I just checked out the stamp set you used and wouldn’t you know it – there is one about pain in the neck. I am going to PT for neck and shoulder pain. My therapist would crack up laughing if I used it on a card for him. Of course wouldn’t you know I just placed an order less than 10 minutes ago and I could have ordered it with my rewards. Oh well, maybe soon – I am trying to justify stamp sets… Love your cards and that plunger is the bomb!
