May Fun Folds 2022
It’s time for Fun Folds with the Pals – May 2022 edition. Are you ready for some beautiful color?
My project this month features an accordion fold using the new Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper (#158822) and Good Feelings Stamp Set (#158737). The fold looks more complicated than it really is. Follow along to create this fun folded card.
- Start with a piece of Basic White cardstock measuring 5-1/2″ x 12″. Score at 1-3/4?, 4-3/4? and 7-3/4?. Fold like and burnish for nice, crisp folds.
- Cut the following pieces of Designer Series Paper
(3) pieces – 1 1/2? x 5 1/4?
(1) piece – 2 3/4? x 5 1/4? - Affix the DSP per the picture below.
4. Stamp phrase on Heavy Basic White card stock with Orchid Oasis Classic Ink (or your favorite color). Trim this piece to close the the greeting.
5. Trim a piece of Pool Party Card Stock 1/4″ larger than the greeting piece. Then affix the greeting to the Pool Party piece. Embellish with three 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds (#159185)
6. Affix the greeting assembly to the top of the card.
7. Voila! A simple, elegant fold. Now that’s what I call fun!
