Fun Fold Gift Explosion
Welcome to the November 2022 edition of our Fun Folds Blog Hop where Stampin’ Up! demonstrators share their love of fun and fancy folded cards. I’m always excited to see what my fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators come up with.
Thanksgiving is upon us. Can you believe it? It’s almost crunch time for holiday giving. Here’s an easy and fun way to wrap up a gift card for a special, but hard to buy for person. Presenting the Pinwheel Fold.
What makes this a “Gift Explosion”? It’s the perfect size to hold the gift card I told you about earlier. An explosion of fun.
Slip off the belly-band to unveil the pinwheel.
Unwrap the surprise.
All from one sheet of paper!
Instructions for this fun fold are featured in this video by fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Julie Dimatteo (aka “Paper Pixie) you may have heard of her. This video is short, sweet and easy to follow.

How fun Rae! These pinwheel cards are perfect for gift cards and I will definitely be casing them thank you for sharing!!
Thank you Melissa. They are so quick.
Since I do not have the angle plate, I marked 3″ from each side on all 4 sides and then scored from the top mark to the bottom mark on next side all the way around. I hope that makes sense since when you scored the amount left was 3″
Great work around share Lynne!
Looks like a fun card. Thanks for sharing. I’ll give it a try ! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks a million Ruth!
What a fun card! Great way to use that Host DSP. Leave it to Julie to come up with a super fun fold!
Thank you Lisa.
