My project today can be used to remember someone this holiday season. It’s quick and easy project you can put together in very short order.

What’s the special fold?  Take a look inside where you’ll find two pockets ready to fill with a favorite hot drink mix and a pull-out greeting card or something entirely different.

Nuts & Bolts (aka project details)

Here’s what you need.

• Very Vanilla Cardstock (4-1/4″ x 11″) scored at 5″ and 10″
• Very Vanilla Cardstock (3″ x 4″)
• Very Vanilla Cardstock (3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″)
• Real Red Cardstock (4″ x 5-1/4″) plus scrap for closing triangle
• Real Red Cardstock (4-3/4″ x 4-3/4″)
• Designer Series Paper (3-3/4″ x 5″) plus scrap for closing triangle
• Gold Cord 13″
• A2 envelope
• Real Red Ink
• Basic Gray Ink
• Hot Cocoa, Tea or other Drink Packet
• #10 Envelope

Assembly:

1. Fold and burnish card with 5″ fold at the bottom. 
2. Cut Frame from Red Cardstock using the smallest oval in the Framed Florets Dies collection. Make sure to cut it from the center of the cardstock. Also cut one of these ovals from Vanilla Cardstock.
3. Layer and adhere red cardstock and DSP together. Adhere to front of card.
4. Wrap gold cord around card three times.  Secure to front of card with liquid glue or tape,
5. Seal envelope. Fold in half. Trim a very small slice of the ends off to create pockets.
6. Attach envelope to inside of card with Tear & Tape.
7. Stamp greeting on vanilla oval with Real Red classic ink. Affix to front of card, over the gold cord, with Stampin’ Dimensionals
8. Attach the vanilla frame to the red frame, offsetting just a bit. Attach over greeting oval. Embellish.
9. Cut a triangle from both the red cardstock (3″ wide x 1-5/8″ high) and DSP (2-7/8″ x 1-1/2″). Adhere together with liquid glue. Adhere to small flap on card.  This creates a method to keep the card closed by tucking it under the top edge of the oval.
10. Insert:
    1. Stamp Greeting on 3-1/2″ x 4-12″ Very Vanilla cardstock with Basic Gray  ink.
    2. Adhere step A to 3-3/4″ x 4-3/4″ Real Red cardstock.
    3. Insert into inside sleeve.
11. Insert warm drink packet, gift cards or other gift.
