Anything Goes with a Fun Fold
Congratulations to all who submitted a project last month. You’re all winners! It’s always fun to see the different folds you submit. You inspire us every day.
I’ve been dreaming of daisies popping up in my garden for quite some time now. However, the weather can’t decide what season it wants to stay in. Am I the only one dealing with this? Probably not. You know what they say, “If life gives you lemons, make daisies!” I know it’s lemons but darn it, I want daisies! If I can’t have them, I’ll make some, starting with this project.
If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin you’ll recognize the elements of this card. This is the March 2025 kit, Daisy Daydream. and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Who else loves to create alternate projects from their kit? Take a look at the refill kit below.
The only things missing in a Paper Pumpkin Refill are the stamp set(s) and Ink Spot that come in the monthly kit.
I used die-cuts (marked above) and one of the daisy card blanks to create this fun-fold. I also added one sheet of Thick Basic White Cardstock, not included in the kit.
Let’s plant some daisies!

- Adhere the Daisy Card Strip to front narrow panel.
- Adhere the Daisy Card Front Panel to the Basic White rectangle. Adhere to front flap.
- Stamp “Happy Birthday” on provided label die-cut.
- Decorate the Front Panel by adhering daisy, honeycomb, bee [die-cuts] and stamped greeting from the kit. All pieces are popped up. You can use the Paper Pumpkin Instruction sheet as a guide for this step. Some of the daisy petals will extend past the front panel edge. If they extend past the right edge of the card [when closed], trim as needed.
- Optional: Cut down one of the light colored card bases to 4 x 5-1/4. Adhere to the inside and decorate with additional daisies.
I wish the garden daisies would pop-up this quickly!

Daydreams and Daisies Product Showcase:
Beautiful card – thanks for sharing it with us.
Thank you Paula!
Rae, this is gorgeous. I have so many alternatives printed out. I have the original kit and two refills…guess I loved this kit!
Thank you Karen. I LOVE this kit. I have two of the refills as well.
Beautiful card, Rae! I haven’t even opened my kit yet since it’s been so busy here lately, but you have given me so much inspiration! Daisies were my mother’s favorite flower and she would have appreciated getting a card from this one (well, hopefully she would have since she didn’t like handmade cards LOL). Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!
Thank you Debbie. My favorite flowers too! You can imagine how excited I was when I opened the Paper Pumpkin box this month. How could anyone not like your cards. They’re always beautiful.
Have a wonderful weekend Debbie.
Rae
This is such a fun, cheerful card, Rae! I love those beautiful daisies! Like you, I’m ready for spring, but here in Michigan, we’re still pretty chilly and looking at snow in the forecast!
Thank you Carrie. Chilly here too. The weather people say we have a trend toward spring now. Hope it heads your way soon. Have a wonderful day!
