Pals Blog Hop: Flying High with Adventurous Sky

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month’s theme is “Male Room.” The Pals hope to inspire you with their masculine card ideas and paper craft creations using Stampin’ Up! products. Links to the participant’s blogs can be found at the end of each post to help you “hop” along!
What do you think a masculine card should look like? Suits and ties, golf, cars, motorcycles, fishing? All that for sure and more. Something that says “Adventure”. How about flying high in a biplane? Sounds like quite an adventure to me.

Create the perfect card or scrapbook page for your favorite flight fanatic with Take to the Sky Suite of products and the Everyday Arches Dies.

The plane is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, then colored in with Smokey Slate and Basic Black Stampin’ Blends. I imagine these old planes may have a few nicks and dents so I purposely tried to make it look rough. Look closely to see a second, black die-cut behind the plane, to make the image pop. Clouds were stamped with Boho Blue, once in full strength, then stamped again without re-inking.
Let’s get started on this Adventurous Sky masculine card. If you start soon, you’ll have it done by Father’s Day.
