Fun Fold Blog Hop: Shutters for Dad

Welcome to the May 2025 Fun Folds Blog Hop. We have special projects ready for you to CASE. Let’s get started.
My project is a Peek-A-Boo Shutter Card. You’ll find basic “Nuts & Bolts” as well as the link to an instructional video toward the end of this page.

What makes this a fun fold? It looks like a simple gate-fold on the outside.

The Magic! Open slowly to watch a shutter-like window reveal the surprise. Pretty cool, eh?
Need room to write? No problem. Use the back of the card. It’s usually a waste of space so let’s use it.

Cute, cute, cute!! Love that the shutter is on the adorable duck because that’s what I’d be taking a photo of IRL! What a great Father’s Day card! Thanks for joining the blog hop this month, my friend!

Great card, Rae! Love the surprise on the inside!
Thank you Su. This is one of my favorite fun folds. So much you can do with this one.
This card is darling with the ducks! I have, yet, to make a shutter card because it looks intimidating! Definitely going to give it a try! TFS
The cuteness! I need to try this card too! It has been on my list for a very long time. Thanks for the inspiration
