Creative Creases #106: Gallery Blooms Fun Fold

Welcome to Creative Creases Challenge #106
Anything Goes with a Fun Fold
A big
Thank You
to all who submitted a project last month. You inspire us every day.

Today’s project features Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper (from Stampin’ Up!) front and center. This beautiful paper is reminiscent of impressionist art you may see in an art gallery. Blooms, artful scenes and charcoal-like sketches as well as beautiful backgrounds are all part of this package of patterned paper. Here’s a taste of the different images you’ll find in this 6×6 package of patterned paper.

This card almost went into the circular file, never to be photographed or given away. Instead, it became a fun fold card that can be used as a mini photo gallery. I just hate to throw things away. Its basically a card within a card. Nothing fancy here. The floral decoration you see above was created by stamping on Old Olive Two-Tone cardstock once, then stamped again on one of the Gallery Blooms background papers. Since the dies for this set were on backorder when this was created, everything is fussy cut, layered glued.
Stamps used for this project are part of the Gallery Blooms Collection.
Let’s make the card.

Wow. Just wow. This is absolutely gorgeous! Great design and I LOVE that floral paper!
Thank you Leslie.
Such a pretty card! The colors and pps are so soft, just love it.
Thank you Jennifer.
Beautiful card! But you list Petal Pink as being retired; it’s still in the current annual catalog, and I’m hoping this was just a typo.
Thank you Judi. I’ll fix that.
YEAH! So glad it didn’t hit the circular file, Rae! It’s perfect as a mini album! Such beautiful paper and a clever re-purpose. This NEEDED to be shared! 🙂
Thanks a million Mary!
So glad you repurposed this into such a beautiful card, Rae! I love the card design and all the room to showcase lovely papers and stamps! Hope you have a crafty weekend!
Thank you so much Carrie.

Very pretty card, Rae! This DSP is truly beautiful, so the effort to save it from the “circular file” is totally worth it. I have ruined a couple myself but I can’t seem to put them there either. They are lessons for me to remember to try something new on older papers first! LOL Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!
Thank you Debbie. We should take inventory on how many “fixables” we have in our stashes. LOL!
Have a wonderful weekend with those adorable grandchildren.
I really like this beautiful card! Super easy to make!! Thanks for sharing it!!
Thank you Paula!
