Fun Fold Blog Hop: Harvest Time
Welcome to the August 2025 Fun Folds Blog Hop.
It’s harvest time and I’m “harvesting” leaves. They’ll be everywhere soon. Rich colors, the crackle when stepped on, and the shade they provide during those hot summer days. That’s why I love leaves. Today my leaves are organized into a modified gate fold.
When I saw the upcoming Specialty Designer Series Paper, “Gathering Together”, I immediately cleared a spot in my tack room (studio). Then, something very strange happened. The entire suite magically appeared in my shopping basket. How could a leaf-lover resist? You won’t find it unless you are a demonstrator as it’s on pre-order. Don’t worry, it can be yours in September.
Why is it “Special”? Along with the rich colors of Autumn, each sheet has one side that is embellished with bright, gold foil.

- Cardstock
- Early Espresso – 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 3 and 8-1/2
- Cajun Craze – 4-1/4 x 3-1/4, 5 x 5

- Leaf Pattern – 4 x 3, 2-3/4 x 4, 2-1/4 x 4 and more for fussy cutting
- Neutral Pattern for – 5-1/4 x 4 (writing panel) plus scrap for greeting
Construction
- Front –
- Fold & burnish
- Adhere DSP to Cajun Craze CS. Adhere the entire panel to left gate panel
- Die-cut large leaf. Adhere to front panel
- Fussy cut 3 leaves. Adhere over large leaf with Dimensionals. See photo for placement.
- Stamp greeting on woodgrain DSP with Early Espresso. Fussy cut and adhere over leaves with Dimensionals.
- Embellish
- Inside –
- Stamp desired images and sentiments on the Writing Panel. Adhere
- Adhere DSP Panels
