Cute Critters in March
This month, the theme is Cute Critters. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Question…. What exactly is a critter?
Do butterflies qualify? I sure hope so. If not, I’ve just failed the blog hop theme. Yikes! Well, at least they’re cute.
The dimensions are a little different, 3-1/2 x 5-1/2, a mini-slim line. Good news… it fits in a standard A2 envelope.
Follow these simple instructions to create this easy card,
- Start with white card base 7″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 3-1/2″
- Cut colored cardstock 3-3/8″ x 5-3/8″
- Cut top white cardstock 3-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ for the focal piece.
- Stamp floral piece and butterfly cluster in Midnight Muse as shown
- Stamp “Thank you…” on small piece of white cardstock in Gorgeous Grape. Then punch with the Tailored Tag Punch.
- Use your choice of Stampin’ Blends to color images.
- Affix focal piece to colored cardstock.
- Wrap about 24″ of Linen Thread around piece created in #7 three times, tie a bow on the left side. Affix this piece to card base,
- Place a few Classic Matte Dots or other gems.
- Affix tag with Dimensionsals and you’re done!
Optional:
- Stamp butterfly cluster on the inside of the card
- Stamp top portion of flower stamp on the lower left corner of the mailing envelope.
