A Little Mojo Monday Greeting

The last few projects have focused on colors from the Sent With Love bundle so I bet it’s a shock to see earth tones about now. Speaking of shocks, our fruit trees and plants had a little Mojo Monday Greeting of snow. Nothing stuck but there were chain controls on the way up and around Lake Tahoe. For the next few days we’ll start off with lower than freezing temps. Hold on fruit trees!

This sketch was so much fun to play with. I broke out elements left over from the Boutique Boxes Bundle to put it all together. The bundle comes with almost everything used here. I added the brads and used card stock from my stash but the cute buttons, die cuts and stamp are all part of the bundle. It’s another bundle I struggled to like. This time it was the colors, not the stamp. I’m not a yellow kinda gal. But these really work together. So got to get out of the box again! I think I’m starting to wear out the cardboard.

The kit is actually meant to create cute little gift boxes. But by now, you probably know that I’m going to chop and cut things up to make something different. Seethe little note cards in the kit image above? I cut one of them up to make the mat under the doily die-cut.

The little gray square was cut from another part of the note card and the Baker’s Twine comes with the kit. In fact, the only embellishments from outside the Boutique Boxes Kit are the brads. To finish off the inside, more die cuts were added. The Sahara Sand feathers almost look like a shadow. Very nice.
