Truly Grateful For… PPA177
What are you thankful for? Me? I’m thankful for more things that can be counted. But, today I’m truly grateful for…PPA177 and everyone at Pals Paper Arts.
Why? Inspiration! There was no question of which stamp set to use with this sketch. The wood grain panel from Truly Grateful was the perfect backdrop.
I did struggle a bit with color. In fact, even after the final sample was submitted and photos were taken, I still wasn’t satisfied.
So, what do we paper-crafters do when something isn’t quite right? Start over? Absolutely… NOT! Just tug a little here, rip a little there and presto-chango a whole new look!
For added dimension, the “wood” panel was scored on the three vertical lines and slightly bent. The Dusty Durango Maple Leaf was a bit too wide so it was ripped in half and glued back together before affixing it to the label.
Sprigs of burlap ribbon threads were added to make things interesting.
This little note card is only 3″ x 4″. Replace “Thankful For…” with a name and you have the perfect place holder for your Thanksgiving feast!
